About Safetyip

Safetyip is a mission driven non-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, to raise awareness of emergency preparedness by sharing knowledge and information with disaster experiences in Japan to improve public safety and to mitigate impacts of disasters and unexpected emergencies.

Safetyip was established on March 11, 2020 by certified Japanese Disaster Prevention/Mitigation Specialist (Bosai-shi) to commemorate the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami happened on March 11, 2011.  

Japan is known for the one of disaster-prone country, especially earthquakes and extreme weathers, so we believe the survival knowledges/tips from real experiences can be transferrable globally.

An unique term, “Safetyip” derives from “Safety” + “Tip” to widely deliver life-saving easy tips for you and your loved one’s safety.
